Advocacy and Education Initiatives 2006

• Pass two key pieces of legislation: the Bicyclists' Bill of Rights and Responsibilities and Safe Routes to Schools (see legislation)
• Sponsor adult bicycle skills classes (see Bicycling Skills)
• Teach bicycle commuter classes at workplaces
• Continue intermodal advocacy with the MBTA and other transit authorities (see Bikes and Transit).
• Registry of Motor Vehicles Campaign - educate motorists about sharing the road
• Local Bike Committee Empowerment - distribute resources for local advocates (see Bicycle Committees)
• Educate Police Officers
• Work with Congressional delegation to win funding for key bike projects
